Happy Holidays

Busy, busy time of year! I still have a couple more gifts to get others.  I am also hosting Christmas Eve this year at my house for the first time.  My family and my husband's family are going to come over for a little get together on Christmas Eve.
This means a lot of grocery shopping, cooking, baking and cleaning in my future!!  Also been very busy at work!
I am loving all the pretty Christmas decorations around my house though!  Very cozy and cheerful.
Have you got all your shopping done?  Do you feel the "Christmas spirit"?  I hope to share more soon!  Thanks for reading!!

Body Shop Sale

I found a really awesome deal on The Body Shop the other day online.  I found four things that caught my interest and hit add to cart!
I really like how they shipped the products.  I am totally going to use the paper in the box for Christmas or a birthday.  I will just pour it into a bag.
First up-Coconut Body Butter.  I have a few products on this blog already of coconut. I really like the scent!  This product is not different-smells awesome and leaves you smelling awesome AND softens your skin.
Next is Coconut Natural Lip Roll On.  "Made with Community Fair Trade soya oil and organic olive oil" isn't anything special in my opinion.  I don't think the scent is very strong and after it dries my lips aren't especially moisturized.  I might use this over a lipstick for gloss but not as a moisturizer.
My cuticles get SO dry in the winter and they start to peel.  It's gross.  This product seems like it will make a difference.  It is Almond Nail & Cuticle oil.  You twist the bottom of the stick until the product comes out on the brush applicator.  I was surprised by the thickness of the oil.  It is more like a cream consistency and stays in place on your nails and cuticles because of this.  I like the cuticle pusher (not sure that is the correct term)  it comes with.
LOVE this one!  Almond Hand & Nail Cream.  This works SO well. My hands are So soft when I apply this cream.  As it says, "Moisturises hands and conditions nails.  With sweet almond oil and Community Fair Trade Brazil nut oil."  It has a soft pleasant scent, not a strong fragrance.  Winter is really harsh where I live and this product has really been helping my hands.

Overall, a sucessful purchase.  I hope you are remembering to take care of your skin this winter!  Thanks for reading! :)

NOTW

Here is the second color I said I would show you I bought of the brand CQ.  It is 455 Chocolate Plum.  I think it is just the perfect color for fall/winter.

It is a brown color with a slight plum tint.  It is shiny and you need to apply atleast 2 coats.  It lasts about a week before it starts chipping.
I picked it up at the drugstore, it's inexpensive but very nice color.

Pore Strips

I noticed that because I have been wearing a lot more makeup as of late that my pores were looking a little clogged.  I went and picked up some of these Biore deep cleansing pore strips.  I have used these before  and found them to be a little helpful.

I think that they do an ok job at helping your pores look a little less noticable.  You wet your nose and place strip on.  You let it dry and then pull off slowly.  Then you get to look at it and see all the gross crud that you had in your pores.  It does give me a very satifying feeling to know I removed that stuff out of my skin.  The proof is on the strip that it does help clear your skin.  I find they work best using them once a week.

I think that they do an ok job, I only get them when I think my skin is looking extra yucky.  In any case they are kinda fun to use. :)  Thanks for reading!

Honey

I got these as a gift a year ago, but I thought I would share these since they reminded me of my blog's name.

This lotion has a cool brown bottle with white lotion that smells very faintly of honey.  It contains vitamin E.  It does make your skin soft but I think it takes a while for it to absorb in.
This is a Pure Nectar bath syrup.  I have actually never even tried it.  I don't take a lot of baths.  It's suppose to moisturize your skin, it says, "Soak in the natural nutrients of honey, while softening your skin with gentle moisturizers."  It has cute packaging but that's about all I can tell you!  Then there is the honey scented candle which actually does smell of honey...odd but true.  I think all three products are from Rite Aid.  I just had to share some honey products! :)  Have a great rest of your week!!
