Toner

I saw this online and liked the packaging and had to give it a try.  It's called Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel and it's used as a toner, so after I wash my face at night I put some on a cotton pad and wipe it on my face.  My roomate in college had witch hazel that she would use on her face, but I've never given it a try.  I liked the old fashioned picture and the pretty light pink packaging of the rose petal scent.  It does seem to get any missed makeup from after washing my face.  My skin can be sentitive when it feels like it and I haven't had any issues, it does claim to be gentle and I would have to agree.  It also has aloe vera in it and this helped my face the other night when it had a little too much sun.  I love the light rose scent, so pleasant to go to sleep at night smelling like a rose. :)  On the back of the packaging it comes with a cute little description that "Over 120 years ago, Rose Thayer, niece of Henry Thayer M.D., developed an all-natural recipe for extra-soft, youthful-looking skin. As she aged, many would comment on how she always looked 10 years younger than she was."  I've like using it, I may switch over to lotion at night in the winter though, I will have to see.  In the winter my skin gets really dry so that will be the test, if it's moisturizing enough.  I suppose I could even do both!

Essentials

Picked up a couple of essentials.  I seem to have misplaced my tweezers.  I know I used them to pull out a splinter but now they've gone missing-I guess I didn't put them back!  I had one stray hair that had to go that was driving me crazy, so a new pair was bought.  This however is a first time purchase of the eyelash separator.  I have always wanted to try one.  I was not impressed.  It doesn't really do anything. I find that my mascara is too hard for it to seperate any lashes, but I also curl my lashes with an eyelash curler.  I should try it out before I curl, but it doesn't look hopeful.  The other side is an eyebrow brush.  I don't think I will be using that much-not really necessary.  I'm not Andy Rooney.

Bodywash!!

Ok, so I loved the coconut scrub so much I went a little crazy and had to try some others.  Variety is the spice of life they say. I love the smell of the Juicy Pomegranate&Mango Infusions body wash. It smells so good.  I would say the scent is the focus of this one, it's best feature.  It also has little beads in it that make your skin very soft.
The Ultra Rich Shea Butter Creme is very smooth and does a good job of making your skin feel so soft as well.  It's very moisturizing. It also has moisture beads in it but the scent is not strong.  I would say skin softening is this ones best attribute.

Pure Cashmere is silky smooth.  It has a light floral scent, again not the focus.  This one I used as a shaving cream, lathered and shaved my legs.  Very soft skin after I used it-I guess it's not called Softsoap for nothing. ;)  I plan to alternate depending on my mood and what I am looking for in each particular shower. lol

Softsoap Body Wash

I have tried out Softsoap Body Butter Coconut Scrub body buff wash.  I really like this product.  It has a nice smell, you can smell it just a little when you get out of the shower.  It does lather enough to cover your body even though it's also a scrub.  It has crushed coconut that is a gentle exfoliator.  It also makes your skin soft with jojoba butter extracts.
I noticed later that I also have the Softsoap coconut& warm ginger hand soap by my sink!  I really love the smell of coconut in the summer-more so than I realized!

Yardley Soap

I just love Yardley products.  They smell so good.  There were two new scents that I had to try: pomegranate rose, and cocoa butter.  They both smell great, especially the pomegranate rose! My favorite is the classic oatmeal almond though-love the smell.  They feel great on your skin and make your skin feel so soft.  Mmm, almond!

Cheap Coral Polish

I noticed a bright orange-coral colored nail polish while walking by the nail section at the drug store the other day.  I think it was like $1.99 maybe, can't go wrong.  Wow, it's actually has a really nice color and quality.  I have had my nails painted with this color for a week. No chippping! My nails are still looking freshly painted. I am actually very impressed.  I think that it's a little more orange than coral than it looks in the bottle somehow, but very bright and summery.  The brand is Wet n Wild, Wild Shine in the color Blazed.

Rosewater

I got a sample the other day of Rosewater body lotion by Crabtree&Evelyn.  If you love the smell of roses (which I do) then you will really like the scent of this lotion.  It smells just like the rose bushes at the beach.  It has a very strong scent.  The lotion is white, and is a nice constistency. I find that you only need a little bit, so it would last a long time.  It is a white thicker lotion (not runny) and leaves a little bit of a film behind on your hands, but it's not slimy.  The scent is amazing and left my hands super soft.
