Lash Lift

Hello! It's FRIDAY!  I am really happy this week is over.  It's been one of those weeks.  In celebration of the weekend here is a mascara post for you. Haha.

This is Lash Lift by Max Factor.

 I thought it would be nice to have a brownish mascara as I own all black.  This one is called "black brown".  It is not nearly as black as any of my others, I would say it leans more towards brown. 

 This product is "volume and lift mascara".  I would say that it does add a little volume but not a whole lot.  I would also say it does add a little "lift" and length, again not a whole lot. 

 This product is not my favorite.  I now know that I prefer black, and not brown mascara. I had to give it a try, haha.  I think that black just really makes my lashes stand out and this product didn't really do that.  It did a little something but not enough to want to repurchase.

 I see a little difference in the length but not that big pop I like to have.  There are just better mascaras out there.

 If you are looking for something really subtle then you might like this product.  I think between the color and lack of volume/length that this product just isn't for me.  I hate writing that I don't love something but I have to be honest-I wouldn't want you to go out and buy a product that isn't impressive. I just like those dramatic big lashes, what can I say? ;)

Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara

I purchased some new mascara.  I had heard a lot of good things about Covergirl Lash Blash Volume mascara "the one in the orange tube".  I decided I would give it a try, even my sister has it.  I may be the last one to be giving it a try for the first time. 

I think it did a great job adding length to my lashes.  I bought "very black" since I really like dark lashes the best. 

                                          I think it adds some volume too!  Not bad. 

 The one thing I didn't love was there was a little bit of flaking.  I noticed some black clumps in a few spots, and a black flake on my eye corner.  I know a lot of people really like the thick, messy look.  I have always prefered the very neat, long, clean, indiviually lenghtened lash.  I am really giving it a try though.  I think I will get used to it.  I had my other mascara for so long and really liked it and this one is just 'different'.  I can't argue that it doesn't add volume and length like it claims to.  I would say worth the purchase!

Mascara

 I bought this Maybelline Unstoppable Mascara a while ago, and thought I would share my opinion of it.  It has lasted about a year now I think, maybe more.  I don't wear make up everyday but having it for so long shows that it doesn't dry out.  I really loved this product when I got it.  It made my eyelashes look SO long. 

 I have almost run out of it, I can tell there isn't a lot left and will have to pick up a new mascara.  There are so many good ones out there right now that I think I will try something new.  I do really love this one and think it does a great job but I just really like to try new things.

 I've always curled my eyelashes after I applied mascara but very recently have started to curl then apply.  I find the results to be about the same, but if I've used a lot of mascara it can clump the lashes together if I curl after.  Which order do you curl and apply?
